Our approach
A better fit for the way life actually unfolds.
The Second Story offers furnished stays of 30 nights or longer, along with homes leased annually. Different timeframes, held to the same standard of care.
Two ways to stay
We start with what the renter actually needs.
A six-week assignment and a year-long lease are not the same experience. We do not try to make them one. Instead, each property is offered in the way that best suits the home, its location, and the people likely to live there.
01Furnished extended stays
Thirty nights or longer.
For work assignments, relocations, renovations, family needs, and seasons of transition—long enough to need a home, without committing to a full year.
Prepared for daily life
Furnishings, household basics, Wi-Fi, and the practical details needed to arrive with less to arrange.
Clear monthly terms
Rates, length-of-stay savings, and property-specific details are confirmed before an application begins.
A place to settle in.
Our annual residences are for people ready to make a place part of their everyday life. Each remains distinct rather than being reshaped to fit a short-stay formula.
Useful information first
Availability, lease expectations, and the realities of the property are shared clearly so renters can judge the fit.
Care beyond move-in
A consistent point of contact and attention to the property continue throughout the lease.
How it works
Direct, considered, and clear.
- 01
Explore the fit
Review the property, location, stay type, and current availability.
- 02
Start a conversation
Tell us what you need so we can confirm dates, terms, and whether the property makes sense for you.
- 03
Apply and lease
Qualified applicants complete screening and sign the appropriate lease before the stay is confirmed.
What stays consistent
The length may change. The care should not.
Places with a point of view
Individual residences with character, context, and a clear reason to belong in the portfolio.
Clear expectations
Honest availability, useful details, and no attempt to disguise a longer stay as a weekend escape.
Consistent care
A familiar point of contact and properties cared for with long-term value in mind.
